Niagara Falls

So seeing as February was the coldest month that Rochester has ever seen, (it didn't get above freezing for more than a 6 hours for the entire month) we decided it would be a great idea to welcome in March by going to see the magic of Niagara Falls in the winter. In short, we were not disappointed!

We asked our friends the Cruzes and Davises to join us on this wintry adventure and they were also willing to brave the cold to see the beauty.

Besides the beautifully impressive falls, I was amazed to see all the ice creating shadows on the objects the mist from the falls continually drenches. During the warmer months, it isn't something that you think too much about, but the cold vividly displays the intensity of the mist.

E did fantastic for the most part, although she definitely expressed her dislike of the cold! We had to stop inside to warm up and eat a little bit. Unlike our last adventure to Niagara Falls, Matthew did not attempt to cross the border without photo ID, so it was a smooth visit!
