Columbia River Gorge

Friday morning Matthew and I decided that we wanted to take a road trip so we packed up and spent Friday and Saturday just on the other side of the Columbia River that separates Washington and Oregon. We stayed on the Oregon side. We wanted to do a bit of camping and hiking and we heard that the waterfalls were beautiful. We were not disappointed!

Picture out our sun roof!

Bridal Falls

We didn't want to start a fire so we just roasted mallows using our camping stove!

Multnomah Falls and our hike to the top of  Larch Mountain:

Two small falls along our hike to the top of Larch Mountain

This Banana Slug was the inspiration for the magnet we got!

We made it to the top...sad the view was covered by fog

Kara thought the fog between the trees looked beautiful!

Matthew loved all the growth on the trees!

Matthew is so strong he held this until I could pass by safely!
